TaylorMade Golf rac TP MB Iron Set - 4-PW A fresh take on the classic muscle-back blade, the rac MB TP is engineered with minimal offset and a high center of gravity (CG) that contributes to the kind of excellent workability and low, controllable ball flight that many tour pros favor in an iron. Enlarged, second-generation rac feel pockets promote softer feel and sound, and the milled face and grooves deliver a consistent spin and trajectory from shot to shot. Irons Included 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and PW.

Customer Review: Terrific Driver Especially at this price
There’s a reason why TaylorMade is dominating the driver market right now…their products are first-rate. I’ve hit several of their drivers, including the R7 Superquad which sells for $399.00(choke choke on sale), and they are all well balanced, and well engineered for high MOI (Moment of Inertia) as well as maximum forgiveness. I actually did not want to like this driver, as several of my friends own them and are constantly singing their praises. I don’t like to go with the flow all the time, so I kept trying other brands. But none of the other brands I tried gave me the consistently long and straight drives that this TaylorMade did. It even controls my slice, thank you very much. I highly recommend this product, but whatever you buy, try it out first on a range or in hitting cage.

A larger core, and improved hex aerodynamics make it more of a secret weapon than a golf ball. This is a great performing golf ball. I’ve found it for $39/doz on several websites, so be careful where you buy.

Wilson Golf- Staff Di7 4-GW Irons Uniflex Graphite Simply stated, the new Wilson Staff Di7 irons are not like other clubs. A lower profile moves the center of gravity down for higher ball flight. A wider sole moves the CG back for greater stability and straighter ball flight. A wider tip shaft prevents twisting on off-center hits. If you want to hit it longer and straighter, play Wilson Staff Di7 irons. We’re talking “club longer”, not 1-2 yards. Features:

  • Elastomeric coating in the back cavity reduces vibration
  • A lower profile moves the center of gravity down for higher ball flight and greater distance
  • A wider sole moves the center of gravity back for greater stability and straighter ball flight
  • A wider shaft tip diameter reduces torque for less twisting on off-center hits

Different Strokes: The Lives and Teachings of the Game’s Wisest Women Mona Vold’s Different Strokes gathers the untold stories of remarkable women golfers like Betty Jameson, Wiffi Smith, Polly Riley, and Kathy Whitwort. Their swings were every bit as perfect as Byron Nelson’s, their battles to overcome injury were every bit as heroic as those of Ben Hogan, and their achievements were every bit as impressive as those of Bobby Jones, Jack Nicklaus, and other heroes of the men’s game. Yet, until now, their words, wit, and wisdom have largely gone untold.

Different Strokes, a collection of 15 portraits of some of golf’s wisest players, provides insights into the lives, achievements, frustrations, and joys of these legendary female athletes. Author Mona Vold reveals the little-known triumphs of these golfers - from their dramatic rises to success to their heroic battles to overcome adversity or injury - and, along the way, she delivers sound technical advice, fascinating anecdotes, and inspiring insights to appreciating the game. Different Strokes will be treasured by every woman who plays golf - from the weekend amateur to the pros on the LPGA tour.
Customer Review: Different Strokes: The Lives & Teachings of the Game’s Wisest Women
Two books are tops for those who love the game and choose to continue learning how to play it well: this one and Every Shot Must Have a Purpose: How GOLF54 Can Make You a Better Player The stories, experiences, tips, and memories are superbly inspiring. Worth re-reading every year!
    Customer Review: A unique gallery
“If a person has any greatness in them, it comes to light , not in one flamboyant hour, but in the ledger of their daily work.” Beryl Markham “West with the Night”

The women Mona Vold writes about in her book, “Different Strokes”, are national treasures worthy of any reader’s time. And although the common thread of their journeys is the world of golf, the passion of their hearts, the clarity of their minds and the strength of their voices both dig deeply into and transcend that rich and humbling game.

Without reservation, I highly recommend this wise and thoughtful book.
